Great service and historic feel. The restaurant on site had delicious food and charming fireplaces made for a cozy atmosphere. The grounds were well-kept and provided a picturesque setting for my stay. the included breakfast was a nice touch and gave me the energy I needed for my busy day ahead.
The room was dated and needed updating. the location was not as convenient as I had hoped.

Great food and wonderful staff. The room was comfortable, with nice views. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area.
There were a few too many flies inside, which could be annoying at times. The restaurant had a few dead bugs on the windowsill, which was not very appealing.

The guesthouse was situated in the country and the service was superb. It was very comfortable and quiet with an open fire and was a real gem. We were sorry that we were not able to stay longer but will most definitely return in the New Year. We would recommend Petersons without any hesitation.
How could you complain about a home so beautiful - not possible.

The staff, atmosphere, location and service were exceptionally good. We only stayed one night and found it was not enough - it was so enjoyable that we have every intention of going back for a longer visit.

The property offers a quaint location in a beautiful garden where you can enjoy reading or take in the views down to the wine tasting area. The rooms, although dated, have their charm, and the breakfast is lovely. The staff is lovely and helpful, and the facilities are convenient.

The ambience of old world grandeur. Everything was clean and well kept and the surrounding countryside picturesque. The winetasting was fun and very welcome after riding up from Sydney on our Ducati and a great way to unwind before a rest and dinner with our friends.
We are used to falling asleep with the TV on and missed that in our b bedroom.

My recent stay at Petersons was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by caring and friendly staff. The beautiful surroundings and well-maintained grounds created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious and offered stunning views of the gardens. The highlight was definitely the log fires, which added a cozy touch to the whole experience. The dinners at the guesthouse were absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed sipping on Peterson's cool climate wines during our stay. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the lack of power points in the room and an old couch, the overall charm and peacefulness of the guesthouse made up for it. Petersons proved to be the perfect escape from city life, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. I'll definitely be recommending this hotel to others.

We recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and were blown away by the level of comfort and quality service. The location was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful garden where we could relax and take in the breathtaking views. The big lounge area was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a conversation with other guests. The rooms themselves were spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities we could ask for including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The staff were exceptional, providing us with excellent room service and ensuring that our every need was taken care of. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

Very nice property in a nice country location.
No flexibility, we arrived at 6.15 and were told that the kitchen would close at 7.00, as we were 14K away from town we had to agree otherwise no dinner! No A/C in bedrooms which were very warm during the night.
